A New Look

My shop will close for the Holidays and will reopen with a completely new look and name change! I have several new designs that I will be working on including kiddie cake toppers. These will be the hit of the party. I'll also be cutting my own frames due to numerous requests for different sizes.
Stay tune for the chic new designs sure to delight the young at heart!

Happy Birthday to My Dad

I wish I could live closer to family. Today, my dad celebrates his birthday. Why am I thankful for him? Well the list of reasons would fill the page and a few more. He is a man of little words however, when he does talk it is usually something funny or a word of wisdom. I am bless to be his daughter.

Shoeboxes

Who would ever imagine that shoe boxes filled with special treats would light up a child's life.
This month I chose Samaritan's Purse as my designated charity. A percentage of my sales were donated to this wonderful cause, Operation Christmas Child.
Here is a bit about their ministry.

Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News of God’s love. Since 1993, more than 61 million shoe boxes have been packed, shipped, and delivered across the globe. People of all ages can be involved in this simple, hands-on missions project while focusing on the true meaning of Christmas—Jesus Christ.

Thanks to all my wonderful customers you have given the gift of Christmas to some who may have gone without.

Decorating for Christmas

My most favorite time of the year. I adore everything about the Christmas season.
The other day I was shopping at Kirkland's Home store. Hanging on their mirror was a beautiful wreath. A mirror provides an elegant, refractive backdrop for wreaths. Wrap metal wreath forms with floral tape to prevent them from scratching mirrors on which they're hung. The wreath was attached to the mirror with a suction cup, which I thought was an absolutely wonderful idea. No need for nails or ribbon/bows, just stick one of those little cups to the surface and hang your decor!
